A Note from Hope and Wade
Dear GYTO Family,
We are so excited to share with you the news that we will be returning to in-person events, beginning with our 2021 National Conference in Orlando, Florida this July. While we have loved being able to still connect with all of you through our virtual conferences, lives, and on social media, there’s nothing quite like being in-person. We are ready and eager to celebrate teachers and all of the amazing things that you do each and every day.
We have made the decision to return to in-person events this July based upon guidance from the CDC, state, and local health departments, as well as the return to in-person learning in so many districts across the country. We are confident that the mitigation strategies our conference partners are employing, as well as those we are undertaking, will provide for a safe and healthy return to in-person events. You can read more about how we are keeping attendees and our team safe and healthy, here.
Our return to in-person events will begin with our 2021 National Conference in Orlando, July 19th-22nd. This will be our only national conference this year, as we will not be holding a second national conference in Dallas. In addition to our 2021 National Conference, we are holding the following regional conference events for Kindergarten - 6th grades and administrators in 2021 and early 2022:
October 11th – 12th, 2021 - Atlanta, GA at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis
January 17th – 18th, 2022 – Las Vegas, NV at the Westgate Las Vegas
February 21st – 22nd, 2022 – Charlotte, NC at The Westin Charlotte
If there’s one thing the pandemic made clear, it’s the importance of teachers, administrators, and support staff. We want to celebrate you and provide you with an educational experience that uplifts you, affirms you, inspires you, and supports you. We look forward to seeing you this summer and beyond and cannot wait to help you make magic for your students and yourself!
With gratitude,
Hope and Wade King
