About the Summit
The College Football Playoff Foundation hosts the Extra Yard for Teachers Summit as a way to inspire and empower teachers each year in the host city. Past speakers and presenters have included Condoleezza Rice, former US Secretary of State; Miguel Cardona, U.S. Secretary of Education, Charles Best, founder of DonorsChoose.org; Desmond Howard, College Football ESPN Analyst, Leon Bridges and Lauren Daigle, Grammy Award winning artists, Eddie B, former teacher turned comedian, and many more. The Summit includes sessions to provide professional development, entertain, and recognize teachers for the hard work they have done.
The day offers virtual and in person high energy Professional Development presented by Get Your Teach On. The event also offers all in attendance the chance to win giveaways from partners, sponsors, and CFP champ weekend events. The Summit will take place at the LA Convention Center.
In-Person and Virtual Attendees will receive a downloadable certificate from Get Your Teach On for four hours of professional development!
